  • Experience

    Lance brings with him 31 years of investment management experience and high level portfolio management. Having worked at top-tier brokerage and wire house firms during those years, Lance brings to each client relationship a deep understanding of investment management and client service experience. He will be based in our newly established San Mateo, California office.

    Lance started his career in 1985 at Dean Witter Reynolds in San Francisco’s Maritime Plaza. Dean Witter was acquired by Morgan Stanley, and Lance rose to the level of Vice President of Investments. During his 15 years at Morgan Stanley, he was actively engaged in investment management for both institutional and retail clients.

    After Morgan Stanley, Lance spent time at Piper Jaffrey and Charles Schwab. While at Charles Schwab he was a Private Client Consultant, in the newly developed Private Client Service Group. This investment management service group was developed to give personal attention to Schwab’s higher net worth clients through a fee-based structure, a first for Schwab.

    Lance develops, executes, and manages an investment plan for his clients, taking into consideration their unique circumstances. Each client’s individuality is respected. He prefers to keep clients informed and educated through open discussion and communication. The satisfaction and success of his clients is shown by the long-term relationships he has with them.
